Peggy Lee Lombardo

Peggy Lee Lombardo
Peggy Lee Lombardo, 65, of Alleghany NY, passed away at Olean Hospital on December 17, 2022 after a lengthy illness.
Ms. Lombardo graduated from Jamestown High School in 1975, and then attended the Cornel School of Hospitality, where she earned her BS in dietary and food services. Upon graduation, she moved frequently, but ultimately settled in Arizona, and then California, where she married and had two beautiful children. She moved back east to her roots around 1990, where she made her home in the southern tier. She immersed herself in nature, loved the natural beauty that surrounded her, studied birds, horses, and all things outdoors. She was also a rescuer of cats, and worked laboriously on finding homes for strays, and other rescue animals. She enjoyed immensely the culinary practices that she learned in college, growing her own vegetable and flower gardens, and became an outstanding cook and chef, where she shared her love of cooking, and gardening with many neighbors and friends through the years.
Peggy is survived by her children, Marcie (Chad) Lemley, Scott Cirincione, siblings, Linda Lombardo Appleby, Philip J. (Linda) Lombardo, Nancy Lombardo, Maria (David) Gordon, Marlene (Harry) Cusimano Barry, and a host of cousins, nieces, great nieces and a great nephew, as well as other extended family members.
She was predeceased in death by her father, Phillip P. Lombardo, mother, Jacqueline Cusimano Lombardo, Grandmother, Rose Cusimano Sellman, and Peter Cusimano.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Tuesday, December 27, 2022 in the Falconer Funeral Home. A Celebration of Peggy’s Life will be held at 12 p.m. in the funeral home.
