Marcia H. Turner

Marcia H. Turner, 86, of Lakewood, N.Y., passed away at 1:30 a.m. Friday, Sept. 2, 2022, in her home following an extended illness.

She was born April 30, 1936, in Jamestown, N.Y., a daughter of the late Axel T. and Elvera Ostrom Hagstrom.

Before her retirement, she was a real estate agent working for Century 21 Turner Brokers in Lakewood, N.Y. In earlier years she was a partner with the former Rolling Hills Realty and was a real estate agent with her former husband, Bruce J. Turner Realty.

Marcia was a member of the Lakewood Women's Club and will be remembered as one who loved taking care of her children, grandchildren and loved taking trips to Florida to visit family and spend time on the beach. She will also be remembered for her love of shopping with the girls.

Surviving are her two children: Thomas A. Turner of Lakewood, N.Y.,and Jodi L. (Johnmichael) Moran of Land O Lakes, Fla.; eight grandchildren: Katya Turner of Lakewood, Michael Turner of Buffalo, N.Y., Lacie (Jeffery Thomas) Abbey, Cody (Amanda) Abbey, Dylan Abbey, Danielle Abbey, all of Jamestown, N.Y., Hannah Moran and Jacob Moran both of Land O Lakes, Fla.; and seven great-grandchildren: Jonathan, Isaiah, Jeremiah and Noah Figueroa, Axel and Mari Abbey, and Jayda Abbey.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Tracy A. Abbey who died Oct. 16, 2021.

A private family service will be held at the convenience of the family. Visitation will not be observed. Burial will be in the Sunset Hill Cemetery.
