Kevin S. Singer

A lifelong area resident, he was born Dec. 21, 1954, in Jamestown, the son of the late Clarence and Mildred Singer.

Kevin was a graduate of Maple Grove High School and Jamestown Community College where he earned a degree in communications. He was a dedicated employee of Jamestown Community College for 30 years before he retired.

Kevin enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, especially having crazy adventures with his cousin, Jordie Burley, and watching his grandchildren grow. He also loved experiencing the beauty of music. He was an avid Buffalo Bills fan but an even more devoted husband and father. Throughout his life, he shared his love of traveling to the ocean and Disney with many memorable family vacations with all his kids and wife.

Surviving is his wife, Jane Babbage Singer, whom he happily married March 27, 1982, in Jamestown; five children and eight grandchildren: Marc (wife: Courtney; children: Caylie and Maya) Singer of Rochester; Stacey (husband: John; children: Ellie, Jadyn, Rilynn, and Ethan) Kerr of Ripley; Carolyn (husband: Adam; children: Natalia and Julianna) Ortiz of Jamestown; Elizabeth Singer of Cherry Creek; and Stephanie (husband: Paul) Campbell of Jamestown.

Arrangements entrusted to Riccardi’s Hubert Funeral Home.

A celebration of life for Kevin will be held at Midway State Park Sunset Room on Octl 1, 2022. from 11a.m. to 3 p.m.
