Becky Rae Dieter Hughes

Becky was born in Jamestown, N.Y. on Sept. 22, 1958.

She was a student at Maple Grove High School and lived in the town of Ellery until 2001 when she moved to Chiefland, Fla.

Becky was proceeded in death by her husband, Donald Hughes; mother, Janet Wickham; step-fathers: Harold Wickham and Ray Kesby; father, Wesley Lutgen; and brother, Ben Lutgen.

Surviving are daughter Stephanie Swanson-Erickson (Spencer); son, Brice Dieter (Amanda); three grandsons from Stephanie: Tanner, Alexander and Logan; three grandsons from Brice: John, Jude and James and one baby on the way. She is also survived by three sisters: Wendy Chapman, Lisa McIver and Dora Lutgen; and three brothers: Darren Kesby, Tom Lutgen and Dan Lutgen.

A celebration of life will be held at The Green Door Tavern in Maple Springs, N.Y., on Sunday, Oct. 16, from 1-4 p.m.
