Betty L. McCall Mee

She was born Sept. 20, 1921, in Bridgeport, Ill., daughter of Sedric A. and Murl L Holbrook Tracy McCall.

She is a 1939 graduate of Falconer High School and one year post graduate of completed graded courses of Warren Conservatory of Music under Leroy B. Campbell. Her local teacher of seven years was Syble Braley. She was married to Warren C. Mee at the Chic Inn Restaurant in Kennedy, Nov. 9, 1940.

She was a member of the Falconer United Methodist Church since 1935 and served as an officer of Mary Martha Circle and United Methodist Women. She also served as an officer of the Levant Cemetery Society. She has resided in Lutheran Social Services home beginning in 2004, then moved to Hultquist Place Assisted Living in 2006, and Hultquist Skilled Care in 2017.
