David L. Bemis

David L. Bemis, 72, of Panama, N.Y., died Thursday April 28, 2022, at home with his loving family at his side.

David was born in Corry, Pa., the son of the late Albert K. and Dorothy J. (Lewis) Bemis. He attended Panama Central Schools, graduating from Panama High School. He worked as job coach at The Resource Center in Jamestown.

David is survived by: his wife of 53 years, Connie S. (Redick) Bemis; his children: David A. Bemis (Jennifer Blakley), Lisa J. Bemis, Kenneth A. Bemis (Michelle) and Ricky L. Bemis (Macey Myers); 14 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson; a sister, Diane Carlson; and two brothers: Michael Bemis (Rose) and Daniel Bemis; also survived by nieces and nephews.

No prior visitation. Funeral services will be private.
