Joseph A. Juliano, 77, of Lakewood, N.Y., passed away at 7:32 a.m. Friday, March 4, 2022, in UPMC Chautauqua.
He was born May 4, 1944, in Erie, Pa., a son of the late Battista and Rosemary Schreckengosh Juliano.
Joe was a graduate of Harborcreek High School.
Before his retirement, he was a mechanic for the Niklaus Equipment Company in North East, Pa., for 30 years. He grew up on a farm and had a keen interest in tractors, farm equipment, lawn mowers and cars.
He had a deep love of agriculture and farming and enjoyed country living, going to the lake and taking rides. He also enjoyed spending time with family and friends, playing cards and going to the casino. He especially enjoyed fourth of July picnics, gardening and watching old western movies.
Surviving is his wife of 26 years, Antoinette Valvo Juliano, whom he married March 23, 1996; two step-sons: William Nowell II of Westfield, N.Y., and Michael (Kimberlee) Nowell, of Jamestown, N.Y.; three step-grandchildren; Michael Nowell II, William Nowell III, and LisaMarie (John) Gill; and two step-great-grandchildren.
In keeping with Joe’s wishes, services will be private, and visitation will not be observed.
Arrangements are being handled by the Lind Funeral Home.
