Christopher P. Sundquist

Chris was born on April 12, 1971 in Jamestown, N.Y., the son of the late Paul D. Sundquist and Elizabeth “Betty” Millard Sundquist of Jamestown, N.Y.

Chris graduated from Jamestown High School class of 1990 and received an associate’s degree in science from Jamestown Community College.

Chris worked at WCA Hospital and Cummins Engine for over 12 years.

Chris enjoyed camping, fishing, boating on Chautauqua Lake and cruising around in his Mustang. He loved entertaining and grilling for his family and friends. Many of his friends called him Chris Sunfish. Chris was an avid Buffalo Bills fan.

Chris is survived by his mother: Elizabeth “Betty” Sundquist of Jamestown, N.Y.; his brother: Douglas (Natasha) Sundquist of Busti, N.Y., his nephews: Dawson Sundquist, Jaxon Sundquist and Landon Hooks all of Busti, N.Y.; three aunts: Dorothy (Dail) Swanson, Priscilla Sundquist and Martha (Bradley) Gustafson; four uncles: Sheldon Millard, Ronald Andrews, Richard Sundquist and David (Lisa) Sundquist and many cousins and his cat: Butter.

In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents: Paul and Eleanor Sundquist, his maternal grandparents: Robert and Elizabeth Andrews; three cousins: Timothy and Thomas Epperly and Ryan Gunnell.

Family and friends may call on Friday from 5-8PM at Powers, Present & Sixbey Funeral Home, Inc., 316 East Fifth Street, Jamestown, NY. A funeral service will be held at Powers, Present & Sixbey Funeral Home on Saturday at 2PM. Family will receive friends on Saturday from 1-2pm prior to the service. Pastor Dodi McIntyre will officiate. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Jamestown, N.Y.
