James A. Prince
James A. Prince, 65, of Shirley Lane, Jamestown, passed away Thursday, (Feb. 3, 2022) at his home.
He was born Nov. 27, 1956, in Jamestown, the son of William and Nancy Jackson Prince.
James loved being papa to his grandchildren and enjoyed boating, football, animals and shooting guns.
He is survived by his wife, Allison Daly Prince; a son, Richard Prince of Reading, Pa.; three step-children: Julie (Gerald Monk) Shaffer of Gowanda, Joshua Kaltenbach of California, Md., and Dakotah (Jenna) Kaltenbach of Jamestown; six grandchildren: Kyle Ecker, Kamden Cali, Iris, Warrier, Brandi and Emett Kaltenbach; his mother, Nancy Carlson of Kennedy; a brother, Timothy (Kim) Prince of Frewsburg; and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his maternal and paternal grandparents; and his step-father, Vernon Carlson.
No visitation or services will be observed.
The Peterson Funeral Home, Frewsburg, is handling arrangements.
