Darwin was active with numerous professional organizations and in the Clymer community including: The National Funeral Directors Association, New York State Funeral Directors Association, Chautauqua County Funeral Directors Association, and the Clymer Historical Society among others. He enjoyed spending winters in Bradenton, Fla., but was always ready to return home in the spring. He enjoyed taking senior bus trips with his Clymer friends. Darwin enjoyed wintering in Florida, he also liked spending time at the family camp in Panama upon his return from Florida. Darwin was active and supportive of his church, the Clymer community and his profession. Above all, he was most proud of and enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
