Ella May (Brown) Keith

She was born Sept. 27, 1952, in Salamanca, the daughter of the late Donald H. and Eva Mae (Godfrey) Brown.

Ella attended Randolph Central School and retired from Salamanca High School, where she worked in house keeping for 29 years. She also worked with Project Head Start at St. Patrick’s Church in Salamanca.

Her interests included reading, playing cards, doing jigsaw puzzles, and spending time with her large family and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband of 25 years, George H. Keith: four step children: Kimberly Waite of Little Valley, Theresa Keith of Warren, Pa., George Keith Jr. of Salamanca and Cathy Keith of Pennslyvania, 14 grand-children and three great-grandchildren.

She is additionally survived by her eight siblings; Herbert (Sue) Brown, Richard Brown, Jessie (late Leon) Manning, Brenda (Ken) Caswell and Bonnie Brown, Kevin (Dorothy) Brown, Thomas (the late Kelly Green) Brown, and Robert (Dawn) Brown.

Ella was preceded in death by her mother, Eva May in 1986; father, Don in 2004; an infant brother, Harry James Brown; a brother. David Keith; and a sister, Donna Sample.

The family will receive relatives and friends for a celebration of life starting at 11 a.m., Sunday, Jan. 23, 2022, from the Coldspirng Fire Hall in Steamburg,
