Deloros D. “Peachy” Sampson

Deloros D. “Peachy” Sampson, 85, of Greenhurst, died Thursday Jan. 13, 2022, in her home.

Born Nov. 26, 1936, in Falconer, she was a daughter of the late Lauros and Thelma Erhart Briggs.

She was a graduate of Falconer Central School.

Throughout her life, Peachy displayed a love of crafting, cooking, and communicating. When she wasn’t creating something unique in her sewing room, she could likely be found boating with her husband, or running a boutique shop in Bemus Point. Nobody could beat her in a game of pinochle, and her baton twirling skills could not be matched.

She was employed by Quality Markets and Peterson Farms, however, was most well-known for co-hosting a television show with Elaine Agnello “Cooking with Peachy and Elaine”. For 17 years, Peachy was able to share her passion for cooking while entertaining the community.
