Shirley M. Fye, 76, of 26 Olive Ave., Lakewood, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 15, 2021, in home surround by her family.
She was born May 18, 1945, in Jamestown, a daughter of the late Leo Wilcox and Ruth Fedick Wilcox Hallet.
Shirley was a dedicated factory worker at Truck-Lite for 31 years.
She was a member of the Chautauqua Lake Fish Club, the Celoron Moose, and the Herman Kent Post 777 American Legion Auxiliary.
Surviving is her husband of 61 years, David Fye, whom she married Aug. 29, 1960; three sons: James (Linda) Fye of Lakewood, Gregory (Julie) Fye of Jamestown, and Terry (Michelle) Fye of Stevensville, Mich.; ten grandchildren: Elyse Cyr, Vincent, Derek and Brady Fye, Kathy, David and Travis Fye and Tyler, Trevor and Isabella Fye; seven great-grandchildren: Dawson and Haili Chamberlin, Garrett, Krista, Natalie Fye, and Grace and Emet Cyr; a sister, Virginia (Cliff) Esler of St. Paul, Minn., and two brothers: Leroy Wilcox of Fredonia and Steven Wilcox of Lakewood.
Friends will be received from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday in the Lind Funeral Home.
A private family service will be held at the convenience of the family.
Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery.
