David E. “Meatball” Weber

David E. “Meatball” Weber, 63, of 709 Oak Hill Road, Frewsburg, passed away Wednesday (Dec. 8, 2021) at UPMC Chautauqua.

He was born Sept. 30, 1958, in Jamestown, the son of Donald and Joyce Holmquist Weber.

Dave was a 1977 graduate of Frewsburg High School and was a U.S. Marine Corps. veteran.

He had been employed at SuitKote Corp.

Dave was a member of the Samuel Derby Post 556 American Legion in Frewsburg, Carroll Rod & Gun, and the NRA.

He enjoyed being outdoors and had a passion for antique tractors.

In addition to his parents, Don and Joyce Weber of Kiantone, he is survived by three children: Carrie (Shawn) Heinrich of Preston, Md., Dana Weber of Jamestown, and Scott Weber of Frewsburg; a grandson, Caleb Heinrich; two brothers: Joel Weber of Hilton, N.Y., and Timothy Weber of Cameron, Mo.; and a sister, Mary Johnson of Blossburg, Pa.

The funeral will be held at noon on Tuesday in the Peterson Funeral Home, Frewsburg.

The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service starting at 10 a.m. in the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the Frewsburg American Legion.
