Dara Lee Anderson

She was born Nov. 27, 1937, in Jamestown, the daughter of the late Walter Anderson and Beatrice Roberts Anderson Leyman. She was also preceded in death by her dear step-parents, John and Betty Leyman.

She was a graduate of Falconer High School and Columbia University with a masters degree. She also attended classes at the University of Oxford in England.

Prior to retirement, she was employed by FEMA Department of Homeland Security. She was a world traveler who enjoyed museums and touring ancient cathedrals.

Surviving are a step-brother, Melvin Roberts of Avon Park, Fla.; a half-brother, Donald Anderson of Jamestown, N.Y.; and numerous relatives and close friends.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Carol Anderson Nystrom; and, a step-brother, Thomas Roberts.

No funeral service or visitation will be observed.
