Susan M. Shoup
Susan M. Shoup, 62, of Tucson, Ariz., formerly of Jamestown, N.Y., died unexpectedly Saturday, Oct. 30, 2021, peacefully in her home.
She was born April 8, 1959, in Jamestown, N.Y., the daughter of the late Kermit and Janet Johnson.
Sue graduated from Frewsburg High School class of 1977.
Before her retirement, Sue was the controller of Chapman Automotive for 25 years. She loved her job and had many memorable years at Chapman.
She will be remembered as an extremely loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She was a member of the Moose Club and loved to go camping with her family and friends.
Surviving is her husband, Gene Shoup, whom she married Aug. 11, 1978; one daughter, Jessica Shoup and her fiance, Steve Fletcher of Tucson, Ariz.; five grandchildren: Madalyn (Justin) Miller of Oceanside, Calif., Emily Fruge, Carter Fruge, Grant Fruge and Lauren Fruge, all of Tucson, Ariz.; two sisters: Catherine (Dennis) Faulk of Jamestown, N.Y., and Jody (Randy) Christensen of Scandia, Pa.; and many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held in January in Tucson, Ariz.
