Ronald W. Robertson “Ron”

Ronald W. Robertson “Ron”, of Jamestown, N.Y., passed away Wednesday, Oct. 27, 2021, peacefully in his home.

Ron was truly one of a kind in every way. Anyone who met him was instantly his friend. Ron was very generous with the kindness and love he always gave to others. He radiated a positive energy that you simply couldn’t help but feel in your soul. Ron will always be remembered and his life will be celebrated.

Ron was born on April 17, 1938, in Paw Paw, W. Va.

Ron was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving from Oct. 16, 1961 to Oct. 7, 1964.

Before retirement, he was the property manager for Bradmar Village for over 30 years. Ron was an accomplished actor, starring in numerous Little Theatre productions throughout the years. Ron loved astrology and even taught a class on it at Jamestown Community College. After retirement, he enjoyed meeting new people at his store, Ellington Antiques. Ron was a deeply spiritual person and had a long association with the Spiritualist community of Lily Dale.

Ron enjoyed working around the house, gardening, his animals: Yukie, Winston, Eliot and Sammy, photography, cooking, traveling, eating at interesting restaurants, watching movies, reading, and having deep conversations.

Ron is survived by his niece, Bernice Whittington; his nephew, Roger (Glenda) Stonebraker; his great-niece, Heather Hodge; and his companion, Chris Churchill.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by Roger J. Carlson on April 8, 2020.

Per Ron’s request, no service or visitation will be observed at this time.
