Kenneth Albert Raymond Juul

Kenneth Albert Raymond Juul passed away Sunday, Oct. 24, 2021, at the Azalea Trace Retirement Community, surrounded by his family.

He was born Sept. 7, 1939, in Jamestown, N.Y. He was the son of William and Doris Juul.

After graduating Frewsburg High School class of 1957, Ken enlisted in the U.S. Air Force. During his service he attended the University Of Arizona, The University of Colorado and Auburn University. Ken served in the U.S. Air Force for over 20 years and was extremely proud of his military service. He was honorably discharged in 1979, and returned to Jamestown, N.Y., to help his family.

Upon returning to Jamestown, he was employed as a professor at the State University of New York at Fredonia, and the Jamestown Business College. He then moved to State Line, Pa., to take positions at Shepherd College and Hood College. From State Line, Pa., he moved to Milton, Fla., to teach at Spring Hill College and the University of West Florida.

He is survived by his wife Dawn, whom he married April 26, 1962. He is survived by his daughters: Julie Juul Estess (George Estess), and Ruby Strickland (Steve Strickland). He is also survived by his grandchildren: Tiffany Robinson, Timothy (Ty) Wells, Jackie Wells and Richard Strickland; a brother, Jack Juul (Connie Juul); and, sister Betty Shaka.

A memorial service will be held in the spring of 2022.
