JoHanna Ruth Holt, 82, of Sparta, Tenn., passed away on Saturday, Nov 6, 2021, at Cumberland Medical Center.
She was born April 7, 1939, in Jamestown, N.Y. She was the daughter of the late Arthur and Ruth Peterson Nelson.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Dick Nelson and sister- in-law, Jo Ann Nelson; and two sons: Steven Sprague and Timothy Sprague.
Survivors include her husband, Tim Holt of Sparta, Tenn.; sons: Randy Sprague of Jamestown, N.Y., and Daniel Holt (Sarah) of Wake Forest, N.C.; daughter, Sandy Kent of Sparta, Tenn.; grandchildren: Natalie Holt and Corey Sprague; stepson, Troy Holt of Dallas, Texas; stepdaughter, Tammy Holt of Dallas, Texas; and sister-in-law, Sandy Russell
Graveside services were held at 11 a.m., on Saturday, Nov. 13, 2021, at Oak Lawn Memorial Cemetery with James Dukes officiating.
