Herbert Calvin Moore, 90, passed away on Nov. 13, 2021 at 10:45 a.m., at the Hospice House in Arcadia, Fl.a He was born on Dec. 19, 1930, in Woodcock, Pa. to the Rev. Maurice and Ida Mae Moore.

He was married to Geraldine Belle Schultz Moore with children: Wayne, Jerry (Rosanna), Jeff (Mary), Janice and Cecil.

He was also married to Ruth B. Bailey Buchinger Moore with stepchildren: Cecil Buchinger (Rob White) and Marilyn Burroughs.

He is survived by his brother ,David Moore; and sister, Kathleen (Neil) Carlstrom; sister-in-law Mary Moore and all his children, stepchildren and grandchildren: Josh, Wayne Jr., Nicole, Jessica, Ashley, Paden and Austin; and 15 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Besides his wives, he was predeceased by his daughter-in-law, Teresa; grandchildren: Chad and Lacie Moore; and two greatgrandchildren.

He also proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps.

He was employed with New York State Department of transportation for 29 years.

He enjoyed gardening, flowers, playing horseshoes and cards. His Florida friends fondly remember him riding his bike around Alligator Park and honking his parrot horn at whomever he saw. He will be missed by all who knew him as a faithful servant of God and a loving, caring, and giving father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend.

Relatives and friends may visit DiStasio Funeral Home 478 Route 83, South Dayton, Tuesday, Nov. 23 from 4-8 p.m., where funeral services will be held Wednesday, Nov.24 at 11 a.m.

Interment will be in Villenova Cemetery.
