Lawrence R. Zeiders Jr

NEW BOSTON, Texas — Lawrence R. Zeiders Jr, 61, of New Boston, Texas, passed away Friday (Oct. 8, 2021) in Texas from complications from cancer.

He was born March 12, 1960, in Lewistown, Pa., the son of the late Lawrence Zeiders Sr. and Sarah (Ingram) Raner of Randolph, N.Y.

He was a graduate of Un-ion Springs Academy in Union Springs, N.Y., and attended College in Walla Walla, Wash.

Larry loved to fish and hunt with his son ,Tyrel. He enjoyed playing guitar, recorded and published his own music on You-Tube and playing chess. He also liked being outdoors, feed-ing the birds, planting flowers and caring for his special roses.

His career took him in many directions, having worked for Earthlink, Castors Well Drilling, Lquilla Software of England. He also did additional software security programming on many websites.

He is survived by two children: Amanda Zeiders of Pitts, Pa. and Tyler Zeiders of Falconer, with whom he was happy to have spent time with before his passing; his mother and step-father, Sarah (Milton) Raner of Randolph, N.Y. His siblings: Steven (Sue) Zeiders of Statesville, N.C., Wendy (Roger) Despain of Blackfoote, Idaho, Kent Zeiders and Kenny Raner of Jamestown, sisters-in-law: Donna Zeiders of Randolph and Sue Zeiders of Statesville, N.C.; nieces: Erin Zeider-Weber, Jamie Holdnack, Kerri Zeiders, Caprice Huse, Shandy Lund, Kelsee Despain and Ariel Zeiders.

He was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence in 1991; and brother, Jesse P. Zeiders in 2019.
