George Kepic
George Kepic formerly of Donora and Jamestown, N.Y., age 92,, died on Monday, Oct. 25, 2021, at his daughter’s house in Level Green.
Loving father of Lynne (Bill) Grant of Baldwin, Pam (Bob) Trunzo of Level Green, Mark Kepic of Cocoa Village, Fla., and Elizabeth (the late Rob) Romito of Melbourne, Fla.
Cherished grandfather of Joshua (Kelly), Aaron Grant, Rob (fiance, Alyssa), Anthony (Amanda), Gina (fiance, Martin) Trunzo, Adam and Jackson Kepic and Tori Romito.
Great-grand-pap of Jake and Ben Grant and Isabel Trunzo.
Preceded in death by his brother; John; and sisters; Peg and Lil.
George earned his Masters Degree in Speech Language and Pathology from Edinboro University. He later retired in 2001. George was a member of the Italian Heritage Dancers of Jamestown, N.Y., and was a longtime member of the YMCA in Jamestown, where he was known as the Mayor, Chief, or Godfather of the YMCA. He was an usher and member of the Holy Apostles Church in Jamestown, N.Y. George was a Korean War combat veteran.
Friends are welcome to attend a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Regis Church, 517 Homewood Ave., Trafford, PA 15085, on Thursday at 11:30 p.m. followed by military honors.
George will be laid to rest privately in St. Michael’s cemetery in Donora.
