Wendy Sue Olson-Tompsett, 65, of Bokeelia Fla., passed away on Sept. 9, 2021, at Health-Park Medical Center in Fort Myers following complica-tions after surgery.

Wendy was born on Nov. 22, 1955, to Joyce Rowley-Covey and Roy Olson in Jamestown, N.Y. She graduated from James-town High School in 1973.

Wendy was a loving and dedicated mother to her two children: Michael and Michelle Lewis. Family al-ways came first and was above all else to Wendy, a value she instilled in all those around her. The hole left by her absence will be impossible to fill.

Once her children had grown, she moved to Bokeelia, Fla., where she worked for Heartland Home Health and Hospice Care. For the last several years she was a mobile of-fice manager, which al-lowed her to travel the country spending her spare time taking tours, learning the local history and cul-ture. She especially enjoyed all the great people she got to meet and interact with along the way.

Wendy was predeceased in death by her parents, Joyce (2011) and Roy (1987).

She is survived by her children: Michael (Carrie) Lewis of Sinclairville, N.Y., and Michelle (John Oberg) Lewis of James-town N.Y.; grandchildren: Jasmine and Dylan Lewis of Sinclairville N.Y., and Jacob and Kyle Green of Jamestown N.Y.; and her siblings: Lynne (Jim) Myers of Bokeelia Fla.,, Larry (Sylvia) Olson of Davie, Fla., and Sallie Ol-son of Celoron N.Y.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Wendy’s name to the Humane Society.

Celebration of life infor-mation will be announced at a later date.
