Roy E. Griffin

He was born June 28, 1957, in Jamestown, the son of Oscar “Ray” and Dorothy Hollabaugh Griffin.

Prior to retiring, He had been employed by the town of Kiantone Highway Departmen for many years.

Roy had a passion for Harley Davidson motorcycles and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his former wife, Sue Griffin; two brothers: Ray (Susan) Griffin of Youngsville, Pa., and Patrick Griffin of Randolph; his nieces and nephews: Jason (Michelle) Clark, Ed (Jeanie) Pierce, Allan Pierce, Luke (Amy) Griffin, Vanessa (Raurk) Beverly, Matthew Griffin (Rachel), Tammy and (fiance, Matthew) Hennessey, and numerous great-nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Roy is predeceased by a sister, Eleanor Griffin; and a sister-in-law, Lou Ann Griffin.

The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Friday in the Peterson Funeral Home, Frewsburg.

Burial will be in Kiantone Maple Grove Ceme- tery.

The family will receive friends from 4-7 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the Lander Volunteer Fire Department or the Kiantone Independent Fire Department.
