David ‘‘Skip’’ Reed Hare

Skip was born Jan. 31, 1962, in Jamestown, N.Y., to the late Vincent and Grace (Burch) Hare. He was a self-employed mechanic and truck driver.

Skip is survived by his partner of 25 years, Patricia Soto of Jacksonville Fla.; daughters: Destiny J. Hare and Salena M. Hare of Randolph N.Y.; stepdaughter, Natasha (John) Portie of Jacksonville, Fla.; granddaughters: Natalie M. Brown and Kaylee-Grace Portie; grandsons: Colin I. Brown, Dylan P Brown and Vincent D.L. Hare; sisters: Ann (Randy) Hall of Ashville, N.Y., and Nancy Rose of Mayville N.Y.; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Skip was preceded in death by his stepson, Randolph E Slingluff Jr.; and nephew, Thomas O’Brian Grey.

Inurnment will be private. Memorials can be made to The American Cancer Society.
