Larry Johnson
Larry Johnson, 71, of Hopkinsville, Ky., passed away Monday, Aug. 16 at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tenn. of natural causes.
He was born May 22, 1950 in Galva, Ill, the son of the late Leland R. and Marion Pickens Johnson.
He was an avid wood-worker and loved spending time with his dogs. He also served on several local civ-ic and school boards when he lived in Western New York State and served as a 4H Leader for many years.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Pamela Johnson of Hopkinsville; two sons, Drew Johnson (Christina) of Burleson, Texas and Brett Johnson (Sherry) of Prospect, Tenn.; two daughters: Keri Johnson of Clarksville, Tenn. and Rachel Johnson-Card (Daren) of Boston, Mass,; three sisters: Joyce Baldwin of Rockford, Ill., Linda Johnson-Kabisch of Spring-field, Ill., and Nancy Brown (Gary) of Arkansas: and three grandchildren.
The family chose cremation. There will be no services.
