Jordan Ross Katulich

Jordan Ross Katulich of Meadville, Pa., formerly of Jamestown, N.Y., passed away on Wednesday, July 14, 2021. He was born Oct. 8, 1982.

Jordy will be missed beyond measure. He was a sensitive and caring soul who loved his family and friends fiercely. He was an exemplary dog dad to his best buddy, Noodles, and will forever be the missing piece to all of our puzzles.

Jordan attended Southwestern and Jamestown schools as well as Jamestown Community College where he excelled in baseball and softball.

Affectionately known as, “Gordo,” he will be remembered as a bowling, fishing and baseball aficionado. He was an avid collector of all things eclectic. He thoroughly enjoyed his weekends at local flea markets and thrift stores surrounded by treasures with his mother, Sue.

Born with a fishing pole in-hand, the son of Susan Johnson (John) and Robert Katulich, Jordan came into this world on October 8, 1982. He was preceded in death by his little sister Kaleigh Katulich, grandfathers Frederick Jackson and Duke Johnson, his grandparents Rudy and Donna Katulich, and a cousin Karli Van Benthusen (Bennett).

He is survived by a very large family consisting of his father Robert Katulich, aunt Penny and uncle Jim Bennink, uncle Dan Katulich and cousins Mike and Andy. He is also survived by his mother Sue and Step-Father John, three brothers, Chad Katulich, Alec and Bram Johnson, and a sister Lauren, grandmother Carole Johnson and her son Michael, grandmother Phyllis Jackson, several aunts and uncles and many cousins: aunt Victoria (Arthur) Kurtz, cousins Patrick and Jeff, aunt Mary Beth (Jeff) Heffner, cousins Cory and Victoria, aunt Amy (Shawn) Greer, cousins Sarah, Nicholas and Emily, uncle Mike Jackson, cousins Johnna and Jamie, uncle Dennis (Jodi) Jackson, cousins Andy, Matt and Tracy, uncle William (Cindy) Jackson and cousins Matt, Mike, Chris and Jared.

The family has chosen to have a private service.
