Lynn W. Einink

Lynn W. Einink passed away at St. Vincent Health Center on June 5, 2021, after a brief illness. He was born on Feb. 5, 1946, in Clymer, N.Y., and spent the majority of his life in the Clymer area. He graduated from Clymer Central School in 1964 and attended college for two years at Central College in Pella, Iowa.

Lynn served in the Naval Reserves for two years. He owned and operated North Clymer Farm Service for 25 to 30 years, and later managed the Farmer’s Mill Co-Op in Sherman, N.Y., for several years. He worked as a dairy nutrition consultant later in his career. Lynn was known for a friendly smile, a contagious laugh, an outgoing personality, and for fairness when dealing with customers and employees.

He served as an elder and deacon at Clymer Hill Re-formed Church, and as an elder at Abbe Reformed Church. Lynn served on the Town of Clymer Board of Directors, and also coached Little League and Babe Ruth baseball for many years. He was an avid golfer and bowler, and en-joyed the outdoors and sunshine. Some of his fond-est memories were coaching baseball, attending his children’s sporting events and Florida vacations.

Lynn was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Merriam (Croscutt) Einink; his brother, Roger Einink; and a daughter-in-law Kim (Ingalls) Einink.

In addition to multiple cousins, nieces and nephews, Lynn is survived by the mother of his children, Dianne (Damcott) Einink; a daughter, Jodi Massing, her husband John and their children Nathan, Corey, Justin & Jonathan; a son, Mark Einink and his wife Shelly (McCray) and their children Adam (Maranda) Einink, Amanda Einink, Alison Einink, Brittany Starceski, Rebecca (Austin) Elkins and Allison Skinner; a son, Michael

Einink and his wife Patti (Volkman) Einink and their children Kaeli, Mitchel (Mindy), Mikala and Kameron; and a step-son, Ronald (Deborah) Lorah.

Calling hours and visitation will be held at the Abbe Reformed Church 595 Clymer-Sherman Road, Clymer, N.Y., on Saturday from 9 a.m. until the time of the memorial service there at 12 p.m. The Rev. Michael Beckerink will officiate.

Arrangements are under the care of the Bracken Funeral Home, Inc., 315 N. Center St., Corry, Pa.
