Mary Ellen Brach
Mary Ellen Brach, 86, of Jamestown, N.Y., formerly of Buffalo, N.Y., passed away at 4:15 a.m., Friday, April 30, 2021, in the Lutheran Home and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born Jan. 31, 1935, in Lackawanna, N.Y., a daughter of the late Jacob A. and Eleanora Mullin Brach, and sister of the late Alice Rita (Clayton) Walters and Margaret Rose (George) Strunck.
Mary Ellen spent most of her years living and working in the Buffalo area. For the past 17 years, she enjoyed living in Jamestown, N.Y., worshipping with Compassion Unlimited and spending time at the family lake cottage.
Before her retirement, she was employed by the Erie County Department of Social Services in Buffalo, N.Y., as a senior clerk typist.
She was the beloved aunt of Rick (Mary Lee) Walters, Rosemarie (David) LaBella and Susan (Robert) Reed. Loving great-aunt of Amy Walters Kendall, Rick J. Walters, Christopher La-Bella, Rachel Labella, Robert A. Reed, John C. Reed. Great-great-aunt of Olivia Kendall, Ella Kendall, Connor Walters, Landon Walters and Nicolas LaBella.
A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family. Visitation will not be observed. Burial will be in the Holy Cross Cemetery, Lackawanna, N.Y.
