Marilyn J. (Park) Casler

WESTFIELD — Marilyn J. (Park) Casler, 81, of Spring Street, Westfield, N.Y., passed away peacefully Monday, May 3, 202,1 at St. Vincent Hospital in Erie, Pa., following a brief illness.

Marilyn was born June 20, 1939, in Westfield, N.Y., the daughter of the late Patrick and Marian (Oakes) Park.

She had attended and graduated from Westfield Academy and Central School in the class of 1957.

Following graduation, Marilyn had been employed by various businesses in the area.

On Oct. 5, 1957 she married the love of her life, Robert E. Casler, in the United Methodist Church of Westfield, N.Y., and together they raised three wonderful children.

Marilyn enjoyed sewing, knitting, gardening and crocheting. She had various projects to be done around her home and enjoyed assigning them to her children. But most of all, she loved spending time with her family and especially watching her grandchildren grow.

She was a member of the Westfield Moose Lodge 118, the Friday Lunch Club and was a faithful member of the Westfield United Methodist Church.

Marilyn is survived by her children: Jon (Terri) Casler, Jerry Casler and Marcy Casler, all of Westfield, N.Y.; grandchildren Matt Casler, Colin (Kelli) McKinley; her great-grand daughter, Addison McKin-ley; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and stepmother, Isabelle Park, Marilyn was preceded in death by her loving husband Robert, who died Dec. 29, 2005; her cherished granddaughter Laura Casler, who died Aug.. 25, 2007; and her three brothers: Robert, Gary and Ronald Park.

A graveside service will be held Thursday, May 6, 2021, in the Westfield Cemetery, Academy Street, Westfield, N.Y., at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Nick Perry of the Westfield United Methodist Church officiating.

Funeral arrangements are being handled and cared for by the MORSE FUNERAL HOME, 51 Highland Ave., Brocton, N.Y.
