Mabel A. Ulander

Mabel A. Ulander, who went by “Ann”, 69, of Jamestown, N.Y., passed away May 1, 2021, at Heritage Park unexpectedly.

She was born January 29, 1952, the daughter of John and Freda Brink, in Jamestown, N.Y. A lifelong area resident Ann graduated from Jamestown High School in 1971. She married Wesley D. Ulander in 1972.

She worked for many years at Lutheran Social Services as a housekeeper. She loved the Lord and attended Zion Covenant Church for many years. She loved the outdoors, plants, porcelain dolls, and her shoe collection. Ann enjoyed taking long drives. Her greatest love was spending time with her grandson, Brady.

Ann is survived by one son, Shawn (Brianne) Ulander of Jamestown, N.Y.; one grandson, Brady Ulander of Jamestown, N.Y.; a twin brother, David (Linda) Brink of Frewsburg, NY, Sam (Kathy) Brink, a brother of North Carolina, Timothy (Michelle) Brink, a brother of Texas, Jason (Diane) McNeely, a brother of Jamestown, N.Y., Lynn Terry, a brother of Jamestown, N.Y., Douglas Brink, a brother of California; and a sister, Grace (Edward) Gardner of Jamestown, N.Y.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wesley D. Ulander, whom she married August 19, 1972 ,and died April 8, 2005.

Visitation and funeral service will be held on Friday, May 7, 2021 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m., at Riccardi’s Hubert Funeral Home.

Burial will follow at Sunset Hill Cemetery, Lakewood, NY.
