Frances L. “Frannie” Mongitore

Frannie was born Oct. 22, 1946, in Westfield. She was the daughter of the late Raymond and Florence Hatch Brumagin. She was a 1964 graduate of Cassadaga Valley Central School.

Frannie was formerly employed at Zayres Department Store in Lakewood and as a dispatcher for Golden Cab Co., Jamestown.

Fran enjoyed crocheting items for others, most recently, winter hats for school students including those in her daughter, Gail’s classroom. She also enjoyed putting puzzles together, bingo, and being around people, especially close friends and family.

Fran was the mother of Anne (Scott) Pfeiffer of Gerry, Gail Lynn Heil of Lily Dale and North Carolina, Tom (Bonnie) of Howard, Ohio and Darrin (Bryanna) Mongitore of Jamestown; grandmother of: Richard “Scott”, Christian, Kyle, Brandon, James, Joshua, Cassandra, Timothy, Sarah, Piper, Tiffany, Stefanie and Noah; great-grandmother of 11. Also survived by numerous loving friends including Gretchen Palmieri of Ellery who called Fran on a daily basis to “check in”.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Jordan Funeral Home, Sinclairville with visitation starting at 10 a.m.
