Erick J. Johnson

He was born December 18, 1953 in Jamestown, the son of Erick Sr. and Margaret Sjogren Johnson.

Joey had been employed at Anderson Precision where he enjoyed the people he worked with. Prior to that he had been employed at Bush Industries.

He had received his bachelor’s degree and was a US Navy Veteran.

Joey enjoyed going to the Casino with his brother Rusty. He loved spending time with his family and thoroughly enjoyed his 16 nieces and nephews.

Joey’s whole family rallied around him when got sick, and made sure he had what he needed.

In addition to his mother Margaret Sjogren Johnson of Frewsburg, He is survived by two brothers: Jerold “Rusty” Johnson of Jamestown and Henry (Allison) Johnson of Ellington; three sisters; Elizabeth Johnson of Gerry, Karen (Brent) Galuppo of Frewsburg, and Tina (Don) Koeblin of Guthrie, OK, and a cousin Gary (Diane) Adams of Frewsburg.

Besides his father, he is predeceased by a brother, Carl Johnson.

No visitation or services will be observed.

There will be a private Family Celebration of life.

The Peterson Funeral Home, Frewsburg is handling arrangements.
