Dennis (Denny) C. Videll, 75, of Everett, WA passed away May 3, 2021 at Providence Hospital, Everett.
Denny was born January 28, 1946 in Jamestown, NY, a son of the late Ragnar and Marguerite Waldron Videll.
He was a graduate of Southwestern Central School, Class of 1964. Denny pursued his love of the camera arts by attending Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, CA. Upon completion of his studies, he was actively employed as an independent cameraman. With camera in hand, he could be found in a field, hanging out of a helicopter, or shooting music videos. His love of filming brought him to Seattle, WA where he continued his career. Upon retirement, Denny stayed in the Seattle, WA area and made many friends who shared his love of motorcycle riding. His travels brought him many places, including a chance encounter with a famous Hollywood actor. As Denny told the story, "we could be found late that one night downing a beer or two, or three." He loved to ride and the adventures he had along the way.
Denny is survived by his brother, David C. (Mary Lynne) Videll of Jamestown, and his nephews, Patrick D. (Dr. Michele L. Zucker) Videll, of Chicago, IL, and their son, Matthew E. Videll; Scott A. (Deidra) Videll, of Crestwood, KY and their children, Giana M. and Liam S. Videll; and John C. Videll of Chicago, IL. In addition, he is survived by cousins in Sweden and here in the United States.
Denny's family wishes to extend their sincere gratitude to Roger C. and Jan Hanson of Snohomish, WA who were his longtime friends and who loved and cared for him like family.
Per Denny's wishes, there will be no services. As he also requested, his ashes will be scattered in Washington State.
