Bonnie J. Hammel
Bonnie J. Hammel, 72, of Waits-Corners Road Panama, N.Y., passed away at 5:45 p.m. Thursday, April 29, 2021, in her home following a brief illness.
She was born Sept. 29, 1948, in Phoenix, Ariz., a daughter of the late Robert J. and Amy I. Brown Harle.
Bonnie was a graduate of Panama Central School and before her retirement was employed in the payroll department of the former Fairbank Farms in Ashville, N.Y.
Surviving is her husband, Ronald Hammel, whom she married Nov. 17, 1977; two daughters: Alison Smith of Warren, Pa., Amanda Wilson of Jamestown, N.Y.; a grandson, Joshua Wilson of Panama, N.Y.; and two brothers: Gregory Harle of Ashville, N.Y.; and Allen (Cynde) Harle of Delaware.
She was preceded in death by her father who died July 19, 2014; and her mother who died July 4, 2020.
A private service will be held at the convenience of the family. Visitation will not be observed.
