Betsy Daigler (nee Backlund)

Beloved wife of 65 years to the late Raymond Lorenz Daigler; loving mother of Jill (Mark) Woody, Janice Daigler, Jacqueline Daigler and the late Robert (Mary Lou) Daigler; loving grandmother of Lt. Col. Marc (Haruka) Daigler, Claire (Joshua) Siemens, Michael Daigler Christi (Daniel) Carson and the late Linde Spackman; adored great-grandmother of Henry, Amelia, Nora, Trinity, Gabriel, Eden, Noah, Genevieve and Calvin. Mrs. Daigler was predeceased by four siblings; and also survived by many nieces and nephews.

The family will be present on Sunday from 2-6 p.m., at the (Amherst Chapel) AMIGONE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 5200 Sheridan Drive (corner of Hopkins Road), where prayers will be offered on Monday at 8:15 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated from St. Leo the Great Church, 885 Sweethome Road, Amherst at 9 a.m. Friends invited.
