Jamie E. Lundberg

Jamie E. Lundberg, 66, of Prospect Street passed away on Friday, April 16, 2021, in Roswell Park Cancer Institute in Buffalo surrounded by his loved ones.

He was born April 6, 1955, a son of the late John E. and Geraldine E. Kiendl Lundberg.

Jamie was a graduate of Jamestown High School.

He had been employed by Chautauqua Hardware, Shults Ford and Bush Industries. In earlier years, he was a bartender at his father’s restaurant, the former Blue Room Restaurant and Bar.

He had coached Blue Devils midget football for the southside in earlier years.

Jamie is survived by his wife, Sheila E. Lamper Lundberg, whom he married Sept. 10, 1977; five children: Shawn Lundberg, Kelly (Jose Nickerson) Lundberg, Lindsey (Ryan) McLaughlin, Jonathon P. Lundberg, Courtney (Lonnie Eaton) Smith; eight grandchildren: Mollie Lundberg, Kyler Nickerson, Braelan Nickerson, John Torres Jr., Jack Lundberg, Chase Lundberg, Rylynn McLaughlin, Abel McLaughlin; a brother, John (Anne Marie) Lundberg, a sister, Judy (Jim) Clary; several nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog, “Bella.”

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A private memorial service will be held in the Lind Funeral Home. The Rev. Adam Rohler, pastor of First Covenant Church, will officiate.

Friends will be received from 1-2 p.m., Wednesday, April 21, 2021 in the funeral home where masks must be worn, and social distancing observed.
