Thomas C. Sprankle, born April 27, 1937 in Warren, Ohio passed away Wednesday, March 3, 2021.
A former Jamestown, NY resident, he resided In Depew, NY with his wife of 63 years, the former Helen Chevalier.
Tom was the son of the late Clarence S. and Iola Lang Sprankle of Jamestown, NY.
Tom followed in his father's footsteps and was a meat cutter by trade and retired from TOPS Markets.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by 3 sons, John (Janice), Thomas (Jill), Mark (Mary) and a daughter Caroline. He was also the grandfather of 10. Surviving are 3 brothers Robert (Liz), Brian (Jolynne), Bruce and and 2 sisters, Caren Park and Sherry (Don) Vesotski and numerous nieces and nephews.
Tom will be remembered for the entertaining stories he liked to tell while in the kitchen carving Sunday dinner for the family. His kind and caring ways will be missed by all. He will be remembered for his great personality while behind the meat counter at TOPS.
A funeral service will be held at Saint John's Lutheran Church on 67 Litchfield Avenue In Depew, NY on Tuesday, March 16 at 11 a.m.. No prior visitation will be observed.
