Charlene A. Bloomberg

Charlene A. Bloomberg, of Thompson’s Station, Tenn., passed away at her home on Saturday, Feb. 27, 2021, after a hard-fought battle with cancer. She was born on May 4, 1953, in Jamestown, the daughter of Charles Aldrich and Josephine Pace.

Charlene loved to cook, enjoyed being out in the yard, but most especially, she loved spending time with her family. She was a wonderful homemaker who made everybody feel at home. The holidays were always special to Charlene and her family.

She attended Falconer High School. On July 10, 1971, she married David Bloomberg. They would have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary this July.

In addition to David, Charlene is survived by her son Charles Bloomberg, her daughters Hope Bloomberg and Lori Zamora, and her grandson David Zamora. Charlene is also survived by her Aunt Nina Riolo of Jamestown New York, her sisters Bonita (Tom) Mar-tin, of Rock Hill S.C., Angeline (Frederick) Weaver of Glendale Az, and Rose Mary Aldrich of Nashville, Tn. Charlene will also be missed by many cousins, nieces, nephews, sisters-in-laws, and brothers-in-laws. In addition to her parents, Charlene was preceded in death by her sister, Cathy, and her brother, Jimmy.

Charlene will be buried at the Middle Tennessee Veteran’s Cemetery near Pegram, Tenn. Due to CO-VID, the family requests a private service be held. Any donations in her honor should be made to Charlene’s favorite charity, the St. Jude’s Hospital in Memphis, Tenn. or to one’s favorite charity.
