Angel L. Ortiz Rodriguez

He was born Sept. 1, 1977 in Humacao, Puerto Rico, the son of Hector S. Ortiz and Rosa M. Rodriguez.

Angel was known as being a comedian to his friends and family, and was loved by everyone. He would dress up as a clown and superheroes at birthday parties for kids. Angel would give generous gifts with his car club members for Christmas, and school supplies for local families in need. He was also vice president of his local car club LOS Contrincantes.

He is survived by his wife Elizabeth Ortiz whom he married April 19, 2005 in Jamestown; his mother Rosa M. Rodriguez; sons: Jonathan Telschow, Steven E. Rodriguez, Eliel Rodriguez; daughters: Angelique Ortiz, Eilene Rodriguez, Jolimar A. Rivera; grandchildren: Samaiah Rodriguez, Enrique Rodriguez, Azelle Jabbar, Eliza Jabbar, Maryjane Estus and Daisy Estus; brothers: Hector V. Ortiz, Luis N. Martinez; a sister: Rosa A. Ortiz; many aunts, nieces, nephews, uncles, cousins and dear friends.

He is preceded in death by his father Hector S. Ortiz, whom was a U.S. Army Veteran., also his cousin Jahdiel Rivera who passed away Oct. 23, 2020.

His funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday March 3, 2021 in Puerta del Cielo Church 338 Falconer Street, Jamestown, N.Y. Burial will be in Lake View Cemetery, Jamestown.
