Beverly Jane Martenson

She was born on Jan. 18, 1931, in Jamestown, N.Y., and moved to Lakeland, Fla., in 2007. Beverly’s first love was God and the church.

She worked at WCA Hospital in Jamestown, N.Y., for the majority of her career. She enjoyed singing in the choir and at weddings. She also enjoyed making ceramics, dolls were among her favorite. She was extremely talented in sewing doll clothes, arts & crafts and writing poetry.

She loved her family, nieces, nephews and her dog’s (maybe her dogs, more than her family) She was born to her parents Algot and Nettie Johnson. She was predeceased by her husband, Arthur Marten-on; her brother, Brian Johnson; and her son, Timothy Martenson.

She is survived by her sister, Barbara Carlino; her daughters, Deborah J. Simanteris-Williams and Tammy Riolo (Anthony), Norma Martenson; her grandchildren, Kim Simanteris, Morgan Riolo, Jeremy Riolo (Brittany), Heather Haskins (Jeff), Ryan Mar-tenson (Bethany); her great-grandchildren Shelbie Oney (Chris), Alyssa Haskins, Logan Martenson, Rhiannon Martenson; her great-great grandchildren Paxton and Hana Belle Segree; her stepson, Frank Bandel (Linda); her grandchildren Brendan Bandel (Jennifer) and Billy Bandel (Melody); her great-grandchildren Bailey, Makaylee and Emma. “We will miss you bunches, Nana!”
