Peter J. Sirianno

Peter J. Sirianno

(Amo/Papa), 83, of Frewsburg, N.Y., passed away peacefully early Friday morning, Jan. 8, 2021.

Peter was born March 16, 1937, in Jamestown, N.Y. He is the son of James and Grace Sirianno. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, John L. Sirianno.

Peter is survived by his long-time companion, Carol Rawson; his children: including Julie (Jim) Sirianno Vernetti, Jamie Sirianno Peterson, Joni Sirianno Weston and Jennifer Sirianno Knorr. He is survived by eight grandchildren: Mitchell Vernetti, Paige Vernetti, Jaycee Peterson, Jona Peterson, Halle Weston, Parker Weston, Evan Grey and Maddox Knorr.

Peter, a graduate of Falconer High School, was always a hard worker. He was a self-made man whose

love of motors led him to start and operate a variety of successful business endeavors.

Peter was a serial entrepreneur who enjoyed the challenge of new ventures.

His first business, operating multiple gas stations, sparked an interest in selling motorcycles that evolved into Amos Sales Yamaha, circa 1972, where he sold motorcycles, snowmobiles, boats and more.

He was passionate about piloting hang gliders as well as airplanes. As a fixed-base operator, he had a hand in the development of JHW Aerospace. Early in his career he was known as “Amo.” As time passed his moniker became “Papa Pete.”

Peter was a caring, forgiving, loving father and grandfather, as well as a loyal friend. His quick wit and inimitable style will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Arrangements have been made by Falconer Funeral Home. A private service for the family will be held in his honor. In loving memory, donations may be made in Peter’s name to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. (https://donate.lls.org/lls/donate)
