Louise Ann Dahlgren

She was born on Oct. 27, 1938, in Buffalo, N.Y., and became the adopted daughter of Herbert D. and Marjorie “Cecil” Bole Davis.

Surviving are two sons: Kenneth (Betsy) Dahlgren, Jr. and Dale Dahlgren; a daughter, Deborah (Kerry) Johnson; grandchildren; Adam (Alex) Dahlgren, Kristina (Daniel) Blakeslee, Andrew (Katrina) Dahlgren, Nichole (Joshua) Miller, Kara (Robert) An-gilella, Joshua Dahlgren, Arthur Dahlgren, Brandi Dahlgren, Allyssa Dahlgren, and Krystle Grooms; and 11 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by half-siblings; Dianna Bayette, Jean Roth, Dennis Delahoy, David De-lahoy and Janice Franklin. She will be missed by her faithful canine companion, Lilly.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers: Harry, Elmer and Elton Davis; sister, Myrtle Walsh; her birth father, her birth mother and stepfather, Vera and Lee Johnson; and half-brothers: Dennis John-son and Dana Delahoy.

Ann was a 1957 gradu-ate of Frewsburg Central School. With her former husband, Kenneth Dahlgren Sr. , they founded and built Hidden Valley Camping Area in Kiantone, N.Y. She later worked at Carnahan’s men’s store in Jamestown, and Anderson Screw Company.

Ann was a longtime member of the Kiantone Congregational Church and for many years was very active in helping others who struggled with addic-tion issues. She was also a lifelong sports fan, espe-cially for the Buffalo Sa-bres and Buffalo Bills. She passed away minutes after hearing her Bills won the playoff game.

There will be no public services at this time. A memorial service will be held in August, 2021, at a time and date to be an-nounced at the Peterson Funeral Home in Frews-burg, followed by a cele-bration of her life.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Frewsburg Fire Department or the Ki-antone Congregational Church.
