Linda A. Lingenfelter

Linda A. Lingenfelter, 63, of Stewart Rd., Corry, Pa. died Sunday, Jan. 10, 2021 at St. Vincent Hospi-tal, Erie, Pa.

She was born Sept. 22, 1957, in Corry, Pa. a daughter of Hazel Skinner LaCarmen of Bear Lake, Pa., and the late Herbert Oviatt.

Linda was raised and educated in Bear Lake, Pa. and attended School in Pa-nama, N.Y., graduating from Panama High School in 1975. She then worked for New Process in Warren, Pa. for several years before hosting home parties selling Taste of Home and Home & Garden. She then started raising a family and stayed home to care for them. Lin-da later worked for Kent’s Heating and Plumbing in Corry as a Secretary. She also worked for a Cleaning Company, cleaning local businesses.

Linda served on the PTA while her children were in school. She also was a Boy Scout Leader and helped with Girl Scouts. Linda en-joyed reading and visiting with family and friends and researching ancestry.

In addition to her father, Linda was preceded in death by two half-sisters, Catherine and Margaret Oviatt in infancy and a half-brother, Donald Oviatt.

Linda is survived by her husband, James R. Lingen-felter whom she married February of 1982, in Bear Lake, Pa.; step-father, Richard LaCarmen of Bear Lake, Pa.; a daughter, Lori Lingenfelter and a son, Ricky Lingenfelter both of Corry, Pa.; two sisters, Marie Crosby and her hus-band Harold of Jamestown, N.Y. and Rhea Moore and her companion Jim Ferry of Columbus, Pa.; two broth-ers, Fred Oviatt and his wife Mollie of Stewarts-town, Pa., and Jan Oviatt and his wife Sherrie of Bear Lake, Pa. and a step-brother, Steven LaCar-men and his wife Kate of Virginia.

Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.

Services will be held privately by her family.
