Dr. Gale Stranigan

Dr. Gale Stranigan, 88, of Stuart, Fla., formerly of Lakewood, N.Y., passed away on Dec.23, 2020. at Orchid Cove Rehab Cente-rin Stuart, Fla.

Gale was born March 8, 1931. in Jamestown, N.Y., the son of George and Mary Oviatt Stranigan.

He was a graduate of Southwestern Central High School and received his de-gree in dentistry from the University of Buffalo. He practiced dentistry in West Palm Beach, Fla., and Jamestown, retiring in 2018.

Gale was a gentleman and will be missed by all who knew him, not only as a DDS, but as a friend with a gentle soul. Gale enjoyed gardening and raising azaleas. His property was a beautiful sight to behold in the spring. He was an An-glophile who loved quizz-ing people on the kings and queens of England. He loved talking and joking with anyone he met.

Surviving are his son, Craig Stranigan (Jami) of Stuart, Fla.; a stepson, Michael Kettering (Robin) of Angola, N.Y.; his broth-er, Allen Stranigan (Mar-garet) and a sister, Madelyn Olson, both of Jamestown; and five grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Strani-gan on Nov. 6, 2020; a son, Bradley Stranigan on Nov. 3, 2020; and a sister, Flora Stranigan. He will be greatly missed.
