Carolyn M. Widmark

Carolyn M. Widmark went to be with her Heavenly Father, Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Jan. 9, 2021. She was born March 30, 1942, in Frewsburg, N.Y., daughter to the late Henry Allison and Lorena (Lawson) Scott. She resided in Frewsburg, N.Y., her entire life.

Carolyn graduated From Frewsburg Central School in 1960. She was a loving mother and housewife for many years. Later in life she worked in retail at Present Company, The Bon Ton and The Dollar Tree.

She enjoyed life and was an active member of the Ivory Baptist Church and the Chautauqua County Country and Western Music Association. She loved playing cards, bowling, decorating for the holidays, bowling, going to garage sales, auctions and flea markets, and going on day trips.

Carolyn is survived by a son, Darrin Widmark of Frewsburg, N.Y.; a daughter, Amy Schulz (Adam Story) of Warren Pa.; a brother. Henry Allison Scott (Lois Scott) of Dunkirk, N.Y.; Three grandchildren: Page Schultz of Jamestown, N.Y., Skye Whipple of Sherman, N.Y., and Melissa Schulz of Falconer, N.Y.; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Also her beloved cats: Scooter and Clovis.

She was preceded in death by her late husband James Widmark; three brothers: Dwayne, Clayton and Elliot Scott; and a son-in-law. Richard Schulz.

Visiting hours will be held Wednesday, Jan. 13 from 4-6 p.m., at the Peterson Funeral Home in Frewsburg, N.Y. The funeral service will be held for close friends and family, Thursday, Jan. 14, at 11:00 am in the funeral home.Masks will be required.

Burial will be in Ivory Cemetery, Frewsburg. Memorial donations may be made to Chautauqua County Humane Society at 2825 Strunk Road, Jamestown, NY 14738.
