Bonnie L. Matteson

She was born Feb. 16, 1952, in Fairmont, W.V., a daughter of the late William Ernie Riffle and Annie L. Hovatter.

She had been employed by Country Fair, Gerry.

Bonnie enjoyed playing bingo, going to the casino and watching church ser-vices on television, but more than anything she loved spending time with her family and her Chihuahua “Buddy” who was like another child to her.

Surviving are five children Orpha (David Peter-son) Penhollow of Stock-ton, Celeste Matteson of Lakewood, Franklin L. (Kristin) Matteson, Jr. of Pineville, LA, Barry (Malinda) Matteson of James-town and William (Melissa) Matteson of Randolph; step daughter Rhonda (Leon) Arbuckle of Copper Bluff, MO; twenty one grandchildren; twenty seven great grandchildren; siblings Elsie (Thomas) Johnson of Greenhurst, Larry Riffle of Greenhurst, John (Lon) Riffle of Houston, TX, Willi-am Clark (Marilyn) Riffle of Cleveland, TX and Bud (Vicki) Riffle of Pensacola, FL and several other family and friends.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Franklin L. Matteson Sr., whom she married May 30, 1969 and who died May 12, 20012; a great grandson and several loved family members.

A private service will be held at the convenience of the family.

Burial will be in Lake View Cemetery.

Friends will be received from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday in the Lind Funeral Home and from 11 am-1 pm Wednes-day in Koinonia Christian Fellowship.
