Linda G. (Moore) Booth

CONEWANGO VALLEY – Linda G. (Moore) Booth, 70, of Route 62, Conewango Valley, passed away, Thursday (Nov. 20, 2020) at home.

She was born Oct. 11, 1950 in Tazewell, Virginia the daughter of the late Emmett Moore and Nell Marie Lewis. Linda graduated from Pine Valley Central School and had previously worked for the Randolph Union Free Academy and Cherry Creek Woodcrafters.

Linda was involved with the New York State Ladies Home Bureau, and the Leon Fire Department Auxiliary. Her interests included, crafting, scrapbooking, making Christmas ornaments and hard candy. She worked hard each year, planning the families August family reunion, held annually at the Randolph Rod & Gun Club.

She is survived by her husband Roy C. Booth, two sons, Rowdy (Tammy Chamberlin) Booth of Conewango Valley, Jason (Jessica) Booth of Mocksville, NC, two daughters, Tanya (Laurence) Edwards of Homosassa, Fl., Amanda (Charles Clippinger) Booth of Conewango Valley, and the four children’s brother, Cole Booth of Randolph, 15 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

She is also survived by siblings, Jamie Fiebelkorn, Marie Poitras, Lynn Burnetto, Louie Saccomanno and James DeWolfe. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Kyle Edwards, sister in law Rose, and siblings, JoAnne, Carolyn, Marsha, Sue, Jack, Arnold, Russell, James and Kurt.

As per Linda’s wishes, visitation will not be observed. A Celebration of life will be held at a later date and announced by the VanRensselaer & Son Funeral Home, 14 Church Street, Randolph.
