Marjorie D. Hiller
Marjorie D. Hiller, 83, of Falconer, passed into the loving hands of the Lord on Tuesday, Oct. 13, 2020.
She was born in Kennedy, N.Y., in 1937. The daughter of the late John Lee and Leona Fairbanks. Marjorie was 1 of 13 children.
She graduated in 1955 from Falconer High School.
In 1960, Marjorie married the love of her life, the late Francis (Gene) Hiller. Together, they lived in Kennedy, Randolph, and in 1986 moved to Orange City, Fla. After retirement in 2003, they moved back to the area.
Marjorie was a passionate, devoted wife and mother. An avid craft-a-holic, she dabbled in everything from home improvements, woodworking, stained glass, sewing and her specialty crocheting. Projects were always a family affair.
She started her career in 1955 at Woolworths in Jamestown and retired as a CNA at John Knox’s Village in Orange City, Fla.
Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband, “Gene,”; two boys ;and her parents.
Surviving is her daughter and best friend, Linda and her husband, Timothy Olson; two grandchildren: Rachel and Timothy; and two great-grandchildren: Evan and Emalia Rood.
