Hannah Jo Nickerson

She was born January 10, 2006 in Erie, Pa., a daughter of Joseph and Jennifer Weise Nickerson of Corry, Pa.

Hannah lived everyday as a sassy, smart, beautiful, farm tough girl. Hannah was raised and educated in Corry and was currently in 9th grade at Corry Area High School. Her biggest highlight was being crowned the 2019-2020 Warren County Jr. Miss Fair Queen with her sister Queens, Chelsey and Anna. Hannah lived for fair week every summer, and was an active Warren County 4-H member with the Milky-Ways Dairy Club and the Multi-Species Livestock Club. It was a likely sight to see Hannah Jo strolling around the farm with a little brown cow in tow.

She had also served as a past Warren County Dairy Miss. Hannah had been playing basketball in Corry since the 5th grade. She loved to draw, and had a fun, eclectic love of music. Hannah Jo loved coffee dates with Nana and Pappa Weise, and stopping in at Grandma and Poppy Nickerson’s to watch NCIS with Poppy Nickerson. Hannah Jo, or Sister as her brothers. affectionately called her, was the best big sister to Owen and Landon, supporting her brothers at all their activities, and roughing them up when they needed it too. Hannah loved her cousin crew and her friends with all her heart. She loved being her mama’s number one calf feeder, and her daddy’s number one farm girl.

She attended Findley Lake United Methodist Church with Nana and Papa Weise.

Hannah was preceded in death by her maternal great-grandmother, Kay Weise; paternal great-grandmothers Mary Locke and Joyce Nicker-son; and a cousin, Erik Ongley.

In addition to her parents, Hannah is survived by her brothers, Owen Joseph and Landon Joseph at home. Her maternal great-grandparents, Albert and Geraldine Robson and Russell A. Weise Jr., all of Sherman, N.Y.; paternal great-grandfathers, Royal Nickerson of Clymer, N.Y., and Paul Locke of Spartansburg, Pa.; maternal grandparents, Ruston and Tamera Weise of Sherman, NY., and Robert and Vicki Nickerson of Corry, Pa.

She is also survived by her loving aunts and uncles, Travis and Jessica Weise of Sherman, N.Y., Gwendolyn Nickerson of Clymer, N.Y., Cassandra Nickerson of Corry, Pa., and Jonathan and Kasie Nickerson of Corry, Pa.; and many amazingly awesome great aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Family and friends are invited to call at Miracle Mountain Ranch, 101 Rodeo Drive, Spring Creek, Pa., on Tuesday from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 9 pm, and at-tend the funeral service there on Wednesday at 11 am. Rev. Dave Cooke will officiate.

Burial will be held privately in Sherman Cemetery, Sherman, NY.
